Groovy Grin

I'm smiling because I completed a Diva Challenge tile earlier this week!

Challenge #69 is the fourth UMT Challenge ("Use My Tangle"), and I am so glad to be introduced to a new-to-me tangle: "Groovy" by Eden in Georgia. Her blog is Cut'n It Up...and Sewing It Back Together.

This isn't going to be along blog post (how uncharacteristic of me!). Here's my tile using Groovy:

Groovy, plus Mooka, Udine, Tagh, and Floo.
Maybe I'll get a second Challenge design turned in this week! Time will tell....

    Really nice work. I especially like your mooka and how you accented it with the aura of dots.

    i have never been able to get mooka to work for me - yours looks great! and i really like the top left pattern - no idea what it is, but it's really pretty!

    Thank you, Katy And Alice. Mooka is a challenge for me because it takes on a life of its own; I am never surer how it is going to turn out, and I have to just "go with the flow" and let it happpen.

    This is lovely. It is a neat and different collection of tangles. The end result is so nice.

    I love the "wing" in the upper corner...design name?..I also like the groovy larger in the center with different designs inside it.

    You choose some really interesting tangles to go with groovy! I absolutely love your mooka - that's a tangle I haven't been able to feel good about (yet).

    This came out really bright and happy! I like the combination of tangles that you chose - this piece almost looks like it has wings!
